We are one of only 11 public Waldorf schools in the entire United States and Sole School of Choice in the LVUSD district. Like all public schools in California, Mariposa relies on Annual Giving to cover its actual operating costs — state-provided funding is simply not enough. Every dollar raised through Annual Giving goes directly back into our school to support our students, teachers, and essential Waldorf programs.
This year, instead of offering Annual Giving gifts, we've chosen to invest every possible dollar where it matters most — our classrooms.
When we come together with a shared purpose, we bridge the gap between what public funding provides and what our programs truly need to thrive. It is up to us — as Parents, Families and Friends — to lovingly stitch that gap closed, so the full fabric of our school can remain strong, whole and vibrant.

Your tax deductible gift of $750 per child Enrolled provides: Gardening program, Physical education Grades 1-8, Spanish - all teaching staff & materials. Waldorf teacher training & curriculum. All school supplies - natural, high-quality materials for every student. Handwork & Music curriculum staff & materials. Alliance for Public Waldorf Education Membership. Campus beautification projects. Library needs and more!
